This works well. I refer to it as the next gen Power Glove. It works right out the box. It does not need batteries. Just like the Power Glove for the Nintendo it has it limits not so much as a functioning unit, but software compatibility. Like must Game Pads and Joysticks there are limitations. It works great with lots of games and is good as a PC Mouse. I have gotten a few of these over the years and loved having gotten one. It is not a Universal device for all PC software, but works well with PC software that can use it.

When I bought this, I made a deal with myself: I know that since it went off the market, it can't be an incredible product, so if I buy it, I shouldn't blame myself if I spent $20 on something I may never use again. Making this deal was worth it.

You move off the mouse pad, and the signal becomes erratic. Problem is, with the real mousepad, you can see its boundaries. With this "invisible pad", you can't, and find yourself straying off to the sides or top or bottom quite a lot. I suppose with a lot more practice, I could become as proficient at it as I am with the mouse, but since I've had many... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Far Past its Prime. Stationary Use Only., December 28, 2013

For those who remember the Nintendo Power Glove, this is essentially the same type of device that works with a regular computer via USB and is compatible with a wider range of software. A decade after it was introduced it is still ultimately a novelty with limited practical value as an input device or research tool.
