980Ti Hybrids in SLI, AMAZING performance...,

This review is from: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB HYBRID GAMING, "All in One" No Hassle Water Cooling, Just Plug and Play Graphics Card 06G-P4-1996-KR (Personal Computers)I recently upgraded from a 780Ti to 2x Hybrid 980Ti's which I am extremely happy with. I currently live in south Texas which if you don't know is a very HOT state to live in. For this reason I opted to go with the Hybrids to cut down on the overall heat. With my 780Ti running ultra/extreme settings in games my temps were usually running at 75-80°C and this also made it very difficult to get a decent overclock on the card. Not long after that I started researching custom water loops but I found them to be imo a waste of money for a marginal performance increase so I was stuck with the stock cooler. Then EVGA made the 980Ti Hybrid and everything changed. I ordered one to start and was very happy with the performance. Idle temps were 25°C and load temps 45°C. It literally was a dream come true not to mention the performance increase. I was so happy with the Hybrid I decided to do more upgrading so I bought 1 more Hybrid and an Acer XB270HU. I'm literally blown away by the fidelity of my... Read more

This review is from: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB GAMING, Silent Cooling Graphics Card 06G-P4-4990-KR (Personal Computers)
Check the Technical Specifications, it's an awesome card.
- Ti's are typically the pinnacle of single GPU gaming cards at their launch.
However, these flagships will inevitably let you down when their "upper mid-range little brothers":
- succeed them technically with better specs and efficiency
- cost less money
- next year
- every year
But that's the name of the game. This card was on top for about 10 months.
Still Very, Very Powerful, Capable Card.
There are better alternatives for new purchase today, nVidia should be dropping the price accordingly.
I've had no issues with this card what-so-ever, and rate it as a product that has performed excellently, exactly as it was designed.

New LED shroud. Delivers as promised.,

This review is from: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB HYBRID GAMING, "All in One" No Hassle Water Cooling, Just Plug and Play Graphics Card 06G-P4-1996-KR (Personal Computers)This review is for the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB HYBRID.
TL;DR │ This is awesome. This is the only option you have for an out-of-the-box hybrid closed loop liquid cooled Nvidia graphics card, and this makes it unique. As of this writing, the updated LED illuminated HYBRID shroud is used instead of the ugly old one.
NOTE: This review will focus on what makes it unique which is the cooler. Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti has been reviewed extensively everywhere else. Only difference with stock/reference card is that this comes pre-overclocked.

So I got two of these. To my surprise, they came packaged with the updated shroud - the one that is LED illuminated, and with a more neutral and... Read more
