These were slightly wider than spec. However, if your eyes are naturally wide apart (higher pd), then this would work well for you.

A big con is with the magnet. This was NOT as described. The picture indicates that the magnet is a silver one with a hole in it. (so that it's easier to push/pull) The one I received was just a black magnet without a hole in it. Seems to be a bit of a bait and switch tactic going on here...

3.0 out of 5 stars I assumed it was a great "poor man's" VR, April 28, 2016

For $10, it got the "oh...this is cool" from my kids. And it is neat, but very disoriented and looks to be at the very beginning of the virtual reality phase. I assumed it was a great "poor man's" VR, but never tried the Samsung VR. After trying those things on yesterday? Huge difference. If you are really interested in VR, spend the $100 and buy the nice build. If you're intrigued, but could go either way, then this may be for you.

Regarding the product itself. It's a very easy to follow build. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active and there are much bigger phones out there than this, but it doesn't fit well. When the Velcro sides are secured, the tight fit hits the screen save button and I'm constantly opening it to turn the screen back on. The tight fit also has the Velcro popping apart and coming undone.

Bottom line, it's a cardboard VR toy. Well worth the $10, but for a quality experience, you get what you pay for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product at low cost. Higher cost alternatives only add to durability and cosmetic look of headset itself, not VR play, May 3, 2016

The play store has sooooo many VR games and the library keeps expanding every day. Every time I show someone how it works and let them play a game, I always show them the game called "Sisters." Look it up, it is in the play store, it has a picture of a girl doll's face as the icon. It is soo spooky at the end HAHAHA. I swear it made the ladies scream their lungs out, and it made the men swing like they were being attacked. On that note, please make sure whoever you let try out the VR Headset has at least 5 feet of clearance between them and any thing they could hit or knock over (including other people) because they will move like they are on a rollercoaster or punch like a monster is really there in front of them, depending on the game you show them. Youtube also has plenty of VR videos to test out the features of this device. SuperCell's Clash of Clans VR Video is a great use of VR even if you are not a Clash of Clans fan. It puts you on top of an Archer Tower during an... Read more
