It kind of does what it's supposed to. First of all it took almost a month to get here. Had I known that I would have purchased from else where. Second, there's no instructions! None. Not even on the cardboard. Third, it's really really thin cardboard. Imagine the card board from a pack of sodas. It came in kind of bent since it was shipped in a thin plastic envelope. Putting it together was a hassle since it's thin and it wouldn't stay together. I put scotch tape all over it and now it looks better. So as far as seeing threw it... Its okay. Everything looks super magnified. You can almost see the pixels on your phone. The magnet works for changing the images or what ever app your using. Does it work? Eh.. Yeah I guess. Would I recommend it to some one... Nope. Just a cheap knock off.

This Google Cardboard is so awesome!
It is made of sturdy and durable carboard and comes with a couple of iron ferrite magnets and 2 strips of Velcro.

The lack of instructions was a little disappointing, but luckily, the internet is full of information and videos on how to assemble these.

My phone sticks out a little on the right side when the screen is centered in the box, and it doesn't fit while the case is on, but it's not a huge deal. The distance from the lenses to the screen is perfect and I've had no focus issues.

I also had to move the magnets to the other side of the box in order to get it to work with my Droid Turbo, but again, this is no fault of the box. So if you can't get your magnets to work, try moving them to the opposite side.

It would have been nice to have a headstrap, but for the price you can't really expect all that.

I would highly recommend putting packing tape all over the part where you put your... Read more

Ok, this is really frustrating, because I already wrote up a big long review of this, and it disappeared and this ended up back in my "you need to review this" section.

This thing is really cool, and it *does* work with the iPhone. A really good app to download to test it out with the iPhone is "Dive City Roller Coaster".

I will say that it took nearly a month to arrive (I believe it comes from China).

I did a whole write up over at a site with complete instructions (google 'google cardboard the internet patrol), if you want to read a bit more in-depth about using this with an iPhone, but the bottom line is that it *does* work with the iPhone, and it costs a fraction of the price of other virtual reality 3D viewers!
